After three bad purchases, how do you finally find moving equipment that actually lasts?

Right so I told myself I was going to sort this out properly this time because honestly I am tired of wasting money on equipment that looks decent enough when it arrives and then starts falling apart within a few months of regular use. A little context so this makes sense. We manage a mid sized retail stockroom in Sharjah and the volume of goods moving in and out has grown a lot over the past year which means our team is constantly shifting boxes, crates and loaded pallets from the receiving area to the shelving sections and back again throughout the day. Up until now we’ve been buying whatever was cheapest and most available and the results have been pretty disappointing across the board. The last set we bought had wheels that started wobbling after about six weeks and one of the frames developed a visible bend after someone used it with a slightly heavier load than recommended which apparently wasn’t that far above the stated limit. I started doing more careful research this time around and came across crateco while looking for suppliers with a more complete product range and their trolleys and hydraulic equipment section actually helped me understand that not all hand trolleys are built to the same standard even when the specs look similar on paper. What I couldn’t figure out just from browsing is how to tell before you actually buy whether the build quality is going to hold up under the kind of daily stress a busy stockroom puts on equipment. Things like whether the weld points are reinforced, how the wheel axle is secured, whether the grip handle is actually solid or just glued on are things I have no idea how to evaluate without physically inspecting the unit. Has anyone here developed a reliable way to assess quality before committing to a purchase, or is it really just trial and error until you find a supplier whose stock consistently holds up?
